Īlthough Alx Preston wrote on Twitter on Mathat he would be going into more detail on the character ( Rei) of the game "in the next week or so about her" on a dev blog, while posting official promotional art of the character, Preston and his entire team remained mostly silent for over a year, until Preston appeared in the podcast Humans Who Make Games, and Rich Vreeland made an interview with Rich Vreeland on, where Vreeland said that the game had been in works for several years. Heart Machine is currently hiring level designers and programmers to work on the game. He also gave a thank you tweet to some of the developers working on the title. According to lead developer Preston, the game has a way to be completed. The game was announced on Maon IGN.com, with a YouTube teaser trailer.
